Michigan Business Leadership Network Information
The mission of the BLN is to "engage the active participation
of the business community to enable qualified individuals with disabilities
to obtain work and succeed in the workplace."
Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) for Michigan
DBTACs are regional centers that provide information, training, and technical
assistance to employers, people with disabilities, and others with responsibilities
under the ADA. More information

Provides information, materials, technical assistance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT). The ADA addresses all aspects of employment and the obligations of state and local governments and business to ensure that their programs and services are readily accessible to and useable by people with disabilities.
The Great Lakes ADA Center’s service area is Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The Center is one of 10 regional centers funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
Michigan Independent Living Centers (ILCs)
The mission of ILCs is helping people with disabilities live independently
and become productive, fully participating members of society.
Michigan Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA)
If you receive disability benefits from the Social Security Administration, and are interested in working or learning more about how working would affect your benefits, you can get help from a community organization known as a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) project.
